  Buon Venerdi! Come stai? How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and about soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Breakfast Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning without a doubt. Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris and Marv will be here this evening. Chris will also be visited by the wound nurse this morning as well. Sister Jayne and I will be taking Chris to a doctors appointment this afternoon. A routing appointment.

  My playmate and I went to at movies yesterday to see the movie "Playing With Fire" a very good comedy. This evening we will be making our way to "Leo's for dinner and a few margaritas. Ole'

I forgot to mention that on 2 Nov we explored the ship. We also purchased a premium drink package so that we could drink whatever we wanted. While we were exploring the ship we go hungry so we hit up the buffet for hot dogs and burgers. The ship is huge and it has 20 decks. After we got settled in our stateroom we hit up the restaurant (Impanema) where we enjoyed short ribs, rib-eye steaks, tomato soup, nicoise salad, cerviche. For dessert we had sugar free ice cream that was excellent. Sheila ordered gin and tonics that upset her a bit because it took so long to arrive. After dinner we went outside and. we watched the ship pull away from the port. It is balmy and the shoreline was beautiful. We ventured into the casino but it was not as impressive as other ship casino's were. We has a delightful evening though. The majority of people on board are not English speaking. It is a Italian ship with lots of people speaking Italian and German. I was in the mix, smile!

On 3 Nov we got up at the ungodly hour of 10:30am. Can you believe that? By the time we met up with Sheila and Dave to go to breakfast the buffet was beginning to set up for lunch. We did manage to get eggs, bacon and oatmeal. After that we went to the gym because it was raining outside on the track.

After that Elise and I went to the casino to play some slots for a couple of hours. We didn't win but it was fun. Sheila and Dave are watching NFL football.

Elise and I spent the afternoon exploring more of he ship.. We stopped in different bars for a drink. We couldn't contact Sheila and Dave so we ate dinner at the buffet. We met Sheila and Dave at the theater at 7:00pm to see the live show. It was very good with lots of gymnastics and dancing. After the show we has a very delicious "White Russian" and we played a few more slots. Now we are getting ready to call it a night and we make our way back to our stateroom. Hopefully we will sleep like we did last night.

How are you? Well, Elise and I are full from having a good breakfast at "Gus Balones".

Chris is resting very well and Sister Jayne is caring for him. We had to work on Chris's drape because it came off. We repacked it with collagen and sea weed foam. We restarted the (vac) and it is all good.

  Buon Giovedi!  How are you doing? I stared the day off at 4:30am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will up and doing her thing soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Colombian Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning. Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

  To start the day off if you could keep those prayers going for Jane who is in rehab, for Rosemary who is recovering from surgery, for Leticia Green who is having surgery today, and for my fidanzata who will have surgery in a few days. My playmate and I visited my fidanzata yesterday and it really tugs at my heart to see her in pain. I know that all will go well and that everyone will be back to normal soon.

  As for Chris's doctor visit yesterday he encountered a set-back that is being watched closely. Chris's wound site has developed a (tunnel) and we have to keep an eye on it due to it just appeared all of a sudden. We will take him back to see his doctor next  Wednesday. He is in no pain and he is feeling very well. The tunnel may have been caused by under or over packing his wound. No infection is present, no swelling, no redness or excessive discharge. We lowered his (vac) to 75 from 125. Getting old is not for sissies, eh?

  My shorty and I went to see the movie "Motherless Brooklyn" starring and produced by Ed Norton. This movie is excellent and we recommend this one big time. If time permits we may hit up another movie today.

  Well here is a bit more about our cruise. Enjoy. I will try to post something about it on a daily basis.

Here we are about to step on the MSC Seaside. It is a fantastic ship and what a sight to see. We were overwhelmed along with Sheila and Dave. The embarking process was flawless and very well organized.

   Have a good day and I have to bounce to check on Chris. I will have a chin-wag at you later.

  Buon Hump Giorno! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:30am caring for Chris. Elise is way deep in her cave this morning but she will be up very soon to start her day. any plans for today?

  The coffee is a very good Gold Roast Sumatra Blend and a second cup will be downed shortly. It is going to be a very busy day today for us. First off we will be taking Chris to his doctor appointment that is set for 7:45am. Hey, these early hours are whew killer. Later in the day we have several errands that we need to  take care of as well. Hopefully we can break the day up with a movie, eh?

  I will post more about our cruise as time permits. My sisters are enjoying it so far. Sister Jayne will be caring for Chris today. Well, I had better get back to Chris and get him dressed and up in his chair.

MY LONGTIME FRIEND OLIVIA WHO RESIDES IN GEORGIA.

Did you day go well? It has been a busy one for me. I guess I over did it today. I still have a lot of things to catch up and it is going to take a few days before I am finished. 

My playmate prepared breakfast for dinner. We enjoyed blueberry pancakes, eggs and sausages. We got it all down with plenty of coffee. We watched a series on DVD with Chris. Yes we got him up for a couple of hours and he enjoyed it.

I am caring for Chris tonight and my shorty is in her office on her Mac. Chris is relaxing watching TV and he is waiting for his IV supplement to start.

Tomorrow starts very early for us. We are taking Chris to a doctor's appointment that is at 7:45am. Yes, I said 7:45am. Sister Jayne is going to join us and once the appointment is over she will care for Chris for the rest of the day. She is a hidden Tucson gem and a special member of our family.

Well, this is the start of the posting about our cruise to the Caribbean. Enjoy!

We departed Tucson on 31 Oct making our way to Gilbert, Arizona to spend the night with Sheila and Dave. We arrived and rested up for a bit before we ventured out for dinner.

We went to "Bobby Q's" a BBQ place on Mesa. The food was excellent. We returned the house and we hit the sheets because we had to get up at 4:00am so we could head for the airport to catch our flight to Dallas/Ft.Worth and then to Miami. We kind of fell asleep. It is going to be a long day.

We arrived in Miami and we called the hotel shuttle to pick us up. We are spending the night at the Even Hotels on Miami near the airport. Our room is very nice and this is a different kind of hotel. All of the room numbers are even hence the name.

The shuttle driver was very nice and he recommended a good Cuban restaurant for us to have dinner that was near the hotel. After we got settled in our room we gave him a call and he drove us to the restaurant. 

He did not steer us wrong. The food was excellent and we all ate way too much and the portions were huge.  I have to say that we could barely move. 

We started with three kinds of meat empanadas. One chicken, oxtail, and ham and cheese. Elise had the liver and onions, I had the Cordon Bleu that was to die for. Sheila and Dave had lobster tails and a filet. All served with black beans and rice which was super good. For dessert we had key lime pie and Elise said it was the best she has had in 20 years. I ordered the flan that was so good. I also enjoyed a couple of Mojito's that were excellent. We could not move. We called the hotel shuttle driver and he came to pick us up. We thanked him for suggesting "La Rosa" for dinner.

We waddled to our rooms to sleep so we could rest up before we headed for the pier tomorrow afternoon. We slept like gigantic logs. What a great way to start this vacation.

  Buon Martedi! Come stai? How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will popping up soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Colombian Blend and yes a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a very windy morning here in the valley of Tucson. I am caring for Chris today due to we don't have caregiver coverage for Tuesdays. 

 Speaking of Chris he is doing very well. He enjoyed his massage yesterday from Rosemarie. I will be getting Chris up this evening for a short while. 

 This week is loaded with  doctor appointments for Chris. My playmate and I are way behind on our movie-going but we will catch up for sure.

  I am still looking through the pictures of our cruise and I will get them sorted and posted soon in a chronological order. Are we ready to get back on the MSC Seaside? You better believe it.

  Well I had better get to it. Have a good Martedi and stay safe, happy and sound. I will have a chin-wag at you later.
