Good Night!

Good Night!       

How was your day? It has been a busy one for me and Chris. The Truly Nolen man was here for about two hours doing the annual spraying.

I took a few of my medical exams. Only 10 more to go over the next few days Whew!

A change has been made, so I will not be driving JT to Chandler tomorrow. He decided to stay in Tucson a little longer. Elise and I will be having breakfast with him at "Gus Balones" in the morning.

Elise brought me some nice homemade cookies from one of her bridge buddies. They are delicious. I may have to add her to my girlfriend list, smile!

Elise prepared some soup and sandwiches for dinner. We also had sliced tomatoes, baby carrots, and cheese cubes. It was very good. My playmate takes very good care of me.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. We hope that your day was a good one?

   It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning she is up. Yes, I said she is up, but she hit the sheets again as I was getting up. I will check the to what that is about shortly. Any plans for today?

   The  coffee is good this morning and I believe I will have a fiber bar to go along with it. It is a very nice morning here in the valley of Tucson and it should be a very nice day weather wise that is.

   We had a very nice time at Becky and Silvia's yesterday. It was good to see them as always. There was a good turnout for the gathering. Thank you Becky and Silvia.

    Elise and I went to see the movie "Wild" and let me tell you it is the best movie that Reese Witherspoon has done. It was very good and it should get her an "Oscar".

    I have no plans for today except the "Truly Nolen" guys will be out this morning to do a annual spraying. Still haven't had a chance to get the "Fiat L" washed yet.

   We are going to Bisbee on the 24th and return on the 25th like we do every year. Bobby will be here to care for Chris while we are away. We are going to have breakfast with JT Tuesday morning at "Gus Balones". After breakfast I will be driving him back up to Chandler.

   Well, I had better get to it. Have a good, safe Monday!

Hello,

How is it going so far? We just got back from having breakfast at the "Egg Connection". Elise is caring for Chris and I am doing some yard work behind Chris's house.

Here is a bit more about our cruise,enjoy!

We started our day at around 7:00am. We went to grab some breakfast before we met up with our tour group. We are taking the "Tour The City" of Puerto Vallarta".

We board a very tour bus with great views. Our tour guides name is Gina. We saw many sights of Puerto Vallarta. It is a very pretty place and many celebrities have homes here. So far this has been the best of all that we have done on the cruise. Wonderful place.

We stopped in a jewelry store in Puerto Vallarta and they were giving out free margaritas. Elise bought a very nice ring and so did Bobby. A good stop that I am sure was planned by the tour guide to aid the locals.

We stopped in a restaurant that was sort of hidden near the port. We had a very good lunch there. As we entered we received free margaritas. We got seated and we had quesadillas, guac, chips, fajitas , salsa and of course a few more margaritas. The food was delicious.

We returned to the Star and Elise took a short nap. I sat out on the balcony watched people return to the ship. All of a sudden music started blasting. I was coming from below where people were getting back on board.
Some of the crew was down there dancing and having a good time greeting everyone back on board. It was great people were dancing all over the place. It had turned into a docked party. Of course the music woke Elise up and she came out on the balcony to investigate. Bobby joined us on the balcony as well.

After that we went to a "Martini Tasting" . It was fantastic! Bobby was with us for this one. We each got six martini's at 3 ounce apiece for a total of 18 ounces. Wow! We were blitzed! We were not the only one's let me tell you. Nobody was getting up from there seats at all, because we couldn't. Man, that was fun. Here are the martini's that we had to taste. Actually this tasting took place on 2 Dec.

Le Fizz- Grey Goose Vodka/St. Germain/Lime Juice/Soda

Aviation- Bombay Sapphire Gin/Maraschino/Creme De Violette/Lemon Juice

Going Coco Nuts- Grey Goose Vodka/Barcadi Coconut Flavored Rum/Pama/Cranberry Juice.

Cosmo- Grey Goose Vodka/Cointreau/Cranberry Juice/Fresh Lime Juice

Apple- Grey Goose Vodka/Apple Liqueur/Cointreau/Green Apple Slice

Iceberg- Bombay Sapphire Gin/Blue Curacao/Fresh Lime Juice.

I must still be feeling the affects of those martini's, eh?
We Meet back up with Bobby at the Red Lion Pub for drinks that he treated us to. Elise  and Bobby had a martini, a mojito for me.

After drinks we went to the "Grill" to have hamburgers, fries, and ice cream for dessert. We have eaten way too much and I bet we have gained at least 10 pounds so far.

Later Elise and I sat on the balcony to watch the sunset it was great. Later in the evening Elise and I are going to see a show in the "Stardust" lounge. Bobby will be having dinner with Gunther.

Elise and I enjoyed the show in the "Stardust". It was an acrobatic show much like Cirque in Las Vegas. It was excellent and the "Stardust" was packed for this one.

After the show Elise and I hit the casino. We beet $100.00 and we won $241.92. Cha Ching! Yeah! After that we called it a day. It has been a long day due to having to get up so early this morning. Another good day at sea on the "Star".

   It's a Sunday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:50am looking in on Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning. As a matter of fact she is awake and asking me the question "Is it that time already?" "We just went to sleep". Elise will be taking care of Chris shortly. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is an eye opener this morning and very much appreciated. Elise and I are going to the "Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning. Love the comfort food they serve up.  

  We had a very nice evening at Pat's and Kay's home on the far east side of Tucson. We were introduced to them by Bobby. They are a very nice couple who enjoys themselves and Elise and I really like that in a people. They live in the moment with little or no restrictions and they are not dictated by anything. We were joined by Loraine and Jim as well.

   Our hosts presented a very nice spread of fantastic food and libations. We played the game "Cards Against Humanity". They loved it and Kay was very good at it. We also played "Pictionary". It was a lot of fun and the team of Elise, Me, Loraine and Jim won.

   It was a great evening of fun, food, laughs and friendship. Thank you Bobby for introducing Kay and Pat to us. We have to get together with them again.

   Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris. We are going to a party hosted by Becky and Silvia at 3:00pm. It should be interesting and fun. Elise and I may go to a movie afterwards if time permits.

   Well, I had better get busy and check on Chris. Have a wonderful Sunday.
