Good Night!        

Hey, how has your day been? It has been a hectic day for me and my playmate. we are still dealing with my ex and her issues.

JT is here in Tucson for a visit with his mom.I am sure that I will see him shortly. I got a highlight to my day early this morning. I received 3 Karaoke CD's that I ordered and they are great. Chris really enjoyed listening to them.

Elise did not have a good day playing bridge today. She is a little bit bummed about it because she loves her bridge game.

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening. We had pancakes, sausages, eggs and plenty of coffee. It was delicious!

I am caring for Chris this evening. Elise is in her office on her desktop. Chris is relaxing watching TV and enjoying his dinner.

Hello!

How are things going do far? It is still a bit cold here in the Old Pueblo and we may get a few raindrops. Smile!

Well, let's begin posting about our cruise to the Mexican Rivera.

30 Nov

We left home at 7:15am on a flight to LAX. We gathered up our luggage and we made our way to the Norwegian representative who was waiting on us. 

We checked in with her and then we hit up Starbucks for some coffee while we waited for our shuttle bus to arrive to take us to the port.

We arrived at the port and we had to stand in line for about two hours along with everyone else for the process to board the Star. Once we went through customs we boarded  and we grabbed a light lunch and a glass of vino. After lunch we explored the ship.

While we were exploring Bobby met a fellow traveler named "Gunther".Yes he is German and his accent was very strong. I was going to try out my German but I decided not to, smile! Bobby and "Gunther" struck up a friendship immediately. Elise and I thought that was great. They made plans to meet for dinner. "Gunther" is about Bobby's age. We continued to explore the ship until it was announced that the cabins were available. 

We had a suite with a balcony. It is great. Elise and I are spoiled now and we will only get a suite from now on. We had a few Jack and Coke's while we were in our suite. We left the room and we hit up one of the many bars on board. We were joined by "Gunther" and we had a couple of Long Island Iced Tea's. Man they were good and strong. WooHoo!

We parted from Bobby and Gunther. We went to the casino and we had loads of fun (but we didn't win). Then at around 8:15pm we went to the buffet for dinner. It was very good and we ate way too much. We returned to our suite and we were ready for bed because it has been a very long day.

Bobby dropped in to say that he and Gunther were going to walk around the deck and that he would be in later. A very good start to our cruise. Tomorrow will be a sea day that should be fun.

It's A Monday!

Good Morning!        

Mood: Crushed!

   It's a Monday! Yes it is. I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she will be up soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I am on my second cup already, smile! The fur-babies are inside this morning until it warms up outside. Chris is quiet this morning.

    I have no plans for today as of yet but I have a feeling that something is coming my way. Do you ever get that feeling?

    We enjoyed the ARS concert yesterday and so did "Lila". It was very good and Papa John and Dave song solos that were fantastic. Sweet Pea was directing traffic for seating and greeting. It was good to see Shoo and Stu at the concert as well.

    My girlfriend "Lila" wanted to treat us to dinner after the concert and she did just that. I have it good, eh? We stopped at Casa Molina's to chow down. The food was very good and the margaritas were "mucho gusto". 

    I will start to post on our blog about our cruise today so look for it. I am in a mood today due to some family issues. Why is it that family issues cause you to most pain and stress? Oh well!

   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am looking in on Chris and getting him ready for Elise. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up soon to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

  I am waiting on the coffee to finish brewing so I can get percolating, smile! It is a cold 38 degrees this morning here in the Old Pueblo, brrrr! 

 Elise and I are had a wonderful breakfast with my girlfriend Sheila yesterday at Gus Balones. The food was as good as ever. Thank you Sheila for a very nice visit. Let's do it again very soon.

  My playmate and I went to Verizon to get new phones yesterday and we were in there for about an hour and a half. Along with the new phones we were given a new small tablet as well. Sweet!

   We watched our Wildcats beat Michigan yesterday. It was a good game but to be honest I thought that our Cats were going to lose but they brought their a game. Go Cats!

    Elise and I had a very nice dinner last night downtown at "Cushing Street Bar and Grill". The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the live Jazz band.

   After dinner we went to the "Arizona Theater Company" to see the play "Murder For Two". I have to tell you it was hilarious. The acting was superb and with slapstick. We would recommend this one for sure.

   We are going to listen to the "Arizona Repertory Singers" this evening. We will be taking my girlfriend "Lila" with us for this one. We may go to the movies this evening as well, depending on what is showing and the times. Rosemary will be here this afternoon to care for Chris.

  Well, I had better get busy and get this day rolling.  Have a great day!

   It's the Weekend! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be getting up very soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is freshly brewed and I think I will have a cranberry/pistachio biscotti with it. Yummy! We are going out for breakfast this morning with my girlfriend Sheila. We are going to Gus Balones. WooHoo! Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris, and Rosemary will be here this evening.

   We had a fantastic evening last night at "El Corral" with Sheila. The food was delicious and the gin and tonics were superb. Elise and I were treated to this dinner by my girlfriend Sheila. Hey, I must be doing something right, eh? Smile! Thank you Sheila!

   Elise and I are going to "Cushing Street Bar and Grill" this evening for a light dinner. After dinner we are going to the "Arizona Theater Company" to see a play that got good reviews.

   Well, I got the cruise pictures in order and the entry into our trip book about the cruise is done, so I can start to post about. So get ready for it, smile!

   It's a TGIF! Sup? I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Yes, I am very late this morning but I am relaxed, refreshed and I am ready to ring a bell, smile! Elise is deep in her cave this morning and I don't thing that she will be putting feet to the floor anytime soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is very good. I think I will have some yogurt for breakfast this morning. 

   We are looking forward to the arrival of my girlfriend "Sheila" sometime today. It is going to be a fun evening of laughs, good food and plenty of libation. Yeah Mon'. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris.

    Elise and I had a wonderful evening with Shoo and Stu last night. We had a very nice meal of KFC, green beans, kernel corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, and biscuits. Of course we had plenty of vino.

    We played several games of "Mahjong". We have gotten very good at the game because the strategy was cut-throat and well done. I came close to winning twice, Shoo won, Stu won, and Elise was the overall winner. It was a lot of fun.

    We topped the evening off with some champagne, eggnog yogurt, ginger yogurt and coffee. Delicious! We have set the date for our next meeting and rest assured I will be the victor this time!

    Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Later I will do a last minute check of "Do Drop Inn" room number 2 to make sure that it is all set for my girlfriend Sheila. Yes, my girlfriend is staying overnight. I got it like that, smile!

    It's a Thirsty Thursday! Sup? I started the day off at 4:50 am caring for Chris. Elise is stirring about so she will be up and about very soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is working wonders this morning. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. Rosemary will be here this afternoon to take over.

    I have a few errands to take care of today to get ready for our "Mahjong" beat-down with Shoo and Stu this evening here at our casa. Hope they bring enough coin because they will need it and I will take it,smile!

   How are you doing with your holiday preparations? it is a very busy and hectic time of year, eh? I am still not able to post about our cruise yet, but I am almost there. Hang on!

   Elise and I saw the movie "Horrible Bosses" it is hilarious. We are looking forward to our "Wildcats" playing basketball against my hometown Michigan. It is going to be a good game and our Cats will be put to the test.

   We are really looking forward to Sheila visiting us tomorrow. It is always a pleasure to see her. Can you say "Gin and Tonic"? We will without any doubt,smile!

   It's a Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise was awake at 5:00am but she closed her eyes and she was back counting Javalina, smile! Any plans for today?

  The coffee just finished brewing and I filled my cup to the rim. I didn't sleep well last night and I know that it was due to drinking too much coffee last night.

  Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. Elise and I may hit up a movie if we have the time. I have to run a few errands today to include gassing up the Fiat L. 

  I have loaded all of the cruise pics and I will review them next. After that I will start to post about our Mexican cruise. Chris is talking up a storm right now so I had better go and join him in conversation.

Good Night!

How has your day been? It has been a long one for me today due to I cared for Chris today. I didn't get to get the things that I had planned to do but I will play catch you. 

I have 12 continuing medical education class to complete by 24 Dec. I was hoping to start those today but I could not. I cannot get behind on these classes and exams.

Chris has been in a very good mood today. We listened to some jazz and we both mellowed out. I love jazz it is very relaxing and refreshing. It soothes my soul, smile!

Elise prepared homemade waffles for dinner, with sausages, and plenty of coffee. We watched a movie on DVD titled " God's Pocket" it was very good. After that we watched an episode of "West Wing" on Netflix as well.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. We hope that your evening goes well.

   It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise and I both popped up like a toaster pastry this morning. Elise is making her way to the gym. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is very good this morning and Chris is talking up a storm this morning already, smile!

   My plans have been cancelled due to starting the day off with a caregiver issue. So I will be working with Chris today. That means that I will not have a chance to begin posting about our cruise to Mexico. Hang in there it is in the works.

   Well, it has been decided that we are going to return to Montego Bay, Jamaica next year. Yeah Mon'. We will be joined by Bobby and about six or seven others. It is going to be a party with "No Worries". With this group we may get thrown off the island for having too much fun, smile! It is going to be wonderful!

   It's a Monday! How are you doing? Well, we are back from our Mexican Rivera cruise. I have to tell you that my playmate Elise and I had a fantastic time and so did Bobby. Yes he did! Are we ready to back? Yes we are, smile!

  Now that we are back from our fantasy, reality has started to set in. We have so much catching up to do it is unbelievable. 

 We will begin to post about it with tons of photos as soon as we can. It is going to be a very busy month for us and I am sure that it will be for you as well. So be patient and and we will share our cruise with you.
