Happy New Year 2014

   Happy New Year! I started the day off at 4:30am caring for Chris. Elise is purring on this new day. It doesn't look like she will be putting feet to to floor anytime soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good I will be putting together a small salad for later in the day. I will also have a chocolate, banana smoothie as well.

    We had a very nice last day of 2013. We played lots of "Wii" games with Bobby and Angelica. We played ping pong, and electronic darts.

     We enjoyed black-eyed peas, ham and cornbread. Later in the evening we sat outside at the fire pit. It was Bobby, Marv, Elise, Lambchop, Buttercup and me.

     We consumed two bottles of champagne that was very good. It was a good way to usher in the New Year.

      Elise and I are going to the movies this afternoon. Bobby will be here to care for Chris. Did you make any resolutions? We did not this year. I do hope that 2014 is as good as 2013 was for us.

     Well, I had better get busy with Chris and check to see if sleeping beauty is up yet. Have a great first day of 2014. We hope and pray that you enjoy it and that it brings the best for you and yours.
