Good Morning,
Mood: Cheerful
Music listening to: Killing Me Softly by Roberta Flack
How are you this Monday morning? I started today of at 5:45am caring for Chris and he is chatting up a storm this morning. Elise is still counting Gila monsters but she will be up shortly so she can get ready to assist at the local school this morning. We are feeling great this morning much better than yesterday morning.
We believe that it was something that we eat at the birthday party on Saturday that didn't sit well with us at all. We had to change our plans for breakfast on Sunday due to it and hope that never happens again. I am on my second cup of coffee and it is working well. I have a couple of errands to run this morning but other than that it will be a typical Monday, cautious and on the lookout for problems, smile.
Well. our Wildcats are going to be in the Sweet Sixteen, Go Cat's. The game was a very good one and we hope that they get to go to the Elite 8 and beyond. Yesterday was a very relaxing day for Elise, Chris and I. After watching a couple of basketball games on TV, I lit up the grill and cooked up some Italian sausages the hot ones. Wow, they were good. Elise prepared a sauce and a salad and she cooked up some spaghetti and let me tell you we were making pig noises as we ate. Excellent meal. Of course we had a glass of Flying Fish Merlot as well to accompany it.
After Rosemary arrived to care for Chris we watched a DVD called Elegy with Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz. A very good movie ! After the movie we watched a little bit of the Sunday evening programs and then we watched another episode of Rumpole at the Bailey, it is very good. Rosemary ran into a problem with Chris while she was caring for him. A problem that we warn all caregivers to be careful of. Rosemary got a little to close to Chris's mouth while feeding or brushing his teeth and he bite here on her middle finger. This is something that he doesn't do on purpose but one he gets you, you are at his mercy until he decides to let you go like a Gila monster does, and it is very painful let me tell you from experience. Rosemary is fine but it is a lesson learned.
Well, I had better check on Chris and see if Elise is up and about. Have a great day all.
Later...................
