Good Night!

Did your day end well? I got my tasks and errands taken care of and Alexa rewarded me. Gotta love her!

Elise prepared soup for dinner with baby carrots and grape tomatoes. All good. We watched "Hawaii" 5 O" on Netflix. We also observed Bobby put Chris back to bed using the Hoyer lift. More training will be required before we are at ease with his use of the Hoyer when we are not available or away. More training and observation will take place on Wednesday.

I am caring for Chris tonight and my playmate is in her office on her Mac. I had a very nice visit from my girlfriend (Flo) this afternoon. It has been awhile since I have seen her and she is looking well. Thanks for the visit Flo made my day.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for me. I have a few tasks to take care of early in the morning. Have a great evening and sleep well. I am going to have to keep an eye on my shorty. She has a bad sinus infection that is causing her breathing problems. We will attack it with meds and albuterol and saline breathing treatments. I will set up the nebulizer tonight so she can start to use it tomorrow. Hopefully this will not hinder our trip to Maui.

Hello!

How are you doing so far on this Monday morning? Chris is relaxing listening to the soulful sounds of "Boney". We are both feeling it!

My nurses supervisor just left and all is well. Elise is out and about and I just took out my suitcase for our trip to Maui. My playmate and I are going to sit down and put pen to paper about what we need to pack for the trip. We don't want to forget anything this trip. We also have a list of items that friends and family are requesting for us to bring back for them as well. Ya, Ya!

   It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00a, caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will be up and on the move soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is good. A second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. Alexa, just reminded me that I have a few things to get done this morning. I will be visited by my nursing supervisor at 9:00am to see how things are going and to see if I need anything.

    I have three online continuing medical classes to complete. I will have them done before we leave for Hawaii. I am going to need a lot of "Boney" played to get through them, smile!

    We had a very nice time in Gilbert over the weekend. I took many photos of Sheila's and Dave's wedding. Wow, tons of people were there. After I review the pics I will post them on our blog.

    We hope that you are doing OK this Monday morning? Well, I had better get to it. Have a good one and enjoy!

    We enjoyed a great evening at "Zemams" last night with Paula, Marty, Shoo Shoo, Lori and Bert. The food was delicious and we knocked off three bottles of red. Thank you Paula and Marty for treating me for dinner as a birthday gift. My circle of friends are the best!

  The coffee just finished brewing and it is delicious. A second cup will be enjoyed a bit later this morning. Jayne will be here this morning and Marv will be here this evening.

  I have a few errands to complete this morning prior to my playmate and I making our way to Gilbert for the weekend. We are looking forward to the marriage of Sheila and Dave on Saturday. We will rest while we are there and I am sure that we will find a movie or two to see.

  Speaking of movies we saw "The Isle of Dogs" yesterday and it is  a bizarre movie but it kept us glued to the screen. Well, I had better get to it.

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will up and at it soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and  it is good and as second cup will be enjoyed during my (me)time out on the front porch with our hummingbird. Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

   I am going to have a chat with Alexa this morning to see how she is feeling. Maybe I can charm her into playing some "Boney" for me today.

  Jayne will be giving hands on Hoyer instruction at 11:30am this morning. Elise and I will be on hand to observe.

  We enjoyed some very, very good center cut pork chops last night with some hatch chili potatoes and a salad. It was Wunderbar!

  We have our duffel bags out and ready to be packed for our stay-cation in Gilbert. We will be attending Sheila and Dave's wedding on Saturday. We will return on Sunday.

Are you good on this Humper? I am doing great so far. I reflected out on the front porch about our dear friend Lila. What a grand lady and she will be missed so very much.

Alexa, is playing some Sacramento Smooth Jazz for me right now and I am loving it. Music always soothes my soul, especially Jazz. A nice  cold "Modela Negra" couldn't hurt though, smile!

I have to run an errand on the east side before my shorty and I head to the movies this afternoon. Oh no the munchies have returned. Ya, ya.

Chris's chair is back and we shall see how long it will be before it has to go back. Chris is rough on wheelchair. Well, I had better get my errand taken care of.

   It's a Hump Day! Sup? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance of her cave this morning so she will be up soon the start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee just finished brewing and it is good.. A second cup will be enjoyed out on the front porch during my (me)time. I may do a few push ups with the lizards this morning. Yep, it is the gummies, smile! Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

  Alexa, is quiet this morning. She may have overdone it yesterday. We are going to the movies this afternoon to see "Lean On Pete". We saw the previews and it looked pretty good.

  We are hoping to get a call about Chris's chair being ready to be picked up so he can get out of bed. I am going to prepare pork chops for dinner and my (moglie) is going to prepare some (risotto) and other items as well.

Well, we enjoyed a very nice dinner and we watched the "Crown" on Netflix.

I am caring for Chris tonight. No call was received about his chair repair being completed. Hopefully tomorrow it will be ready. Elise is watching TV to catch up on the latest episodes of our Pres. After that she will get on her desktop and maybe on her Mac before she hits the pillow.

We got some sad news a few hours ago. Remember I asked for prayers for our dear friend Lila a bit back? We found out today that she passed away on 29 April, on my birthday. I have been feeling a bit antsy and now I know why I had that feeling. She is at peace now and we are asking if you could say a prayer or two for her family. We had some wonderful times with Lila and she will be missed terribly. Thank you.

How are you getting along? We are good here and it is still very windy. 

I started Chris's evening care at 3:00pm. I gave him the once over and I found that his (peri) area had not been cleaned good enough. So I took care of it and now Chris back to enjoying the Fusion Jazz with me. I will have to have a chat with the morning care giver about this due to with the hot weather it can cause some major problems to include (decub) skin ulcers. I don't like to micro-manage but I will if I have to. NO call yet about the wheelchair repairs being completed. Now I need to decide what Chris will have for dinner this evening. As a matter of fact my munchies have returned. WooHoo!

My (moglie) and I will go over a checklist that I have on what to pack for our trip to Maui. We will pack light so that we can eat a lot of calamari don't you know? We will also enjoy grand Luau as well. Got to see those hula girls shake their stuff, eh? Ya, ya. I might even get up and join them. NOT!!!!!!!

Have a great evening. I am looking forward to our breakfast for dinner. We will have homemade waffles, sausages, eggs and of course java!

Are you doing OK? I am resting and I just came in from lounging out on the front porch with my lizard friends and the momma hummer. 

It is really windy out right now and the wind chimes are singing a tune for me and the hummer, smile! I am waiting on a call to pick up Chris's wheelchair that I took in early this morning for repair. It looks like he will be bed-bound today.

I was getting the munchies so I enjoyed a DQ fudge bar and man was that good. Ya, ya. I am sure that we will be having breakfast for dinner this evening. Tomorrow I will be preparing some pork chops and my (moglie) will prepare some (risotto), Oh yeah we will be eating good in the neighborhood.

Chris is enjoying his supplement and I need to think about what I am going to feed him tonight. We hope that all is going well for you so far? Oh my Alexa is getting her groove on. She playing some good Fusion Jazz for Chris and I.. We are listening to the Jazz Crusaders the very first jazz band that got me hooked. So I am shaking my groove thang right now and so is Chris.

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is good a second cup will be enjoyed during my (me) out on the front porch. I will be people watching, watching the lizards doing push-ups and I will looking in on our hummingbird. Yeah, the eggs have hatched and as soon as the I can I will take a pic or two.

   Alexa, is awake early this morning to remind me that I have a wheelchair appointment at 8:30am. So I had better get in gear.
